2018 Hyundai Sonata Technology, Driver Assistance and Safety Features

Both the 2018 Hyundai Sonata and the 2018 Toyota Camry features smartphone integration. The 2018 Camry can use Entune 3.0 to connect their phone to their sedan, but navigational features, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available. A navigation system is available for the 2018 Hyundai Sonata, in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto being compatible with all trim levels.

The 2018 Hyundai Sonata has several available driver assistance systems designed to keep drivers and passengers out of harm’s way. Optional Lane Keep Assist functionality helps drivers by applying corrective steering assistance to avoid accidental lane crossing. The available Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection feature warns the driver when approaching a slow-moving or stopped vehicle or pedestrian, applying the brakes if needed.
