2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid Trim Level Comparison
There are four trim levels for the 2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid, and they are the Hybrid Essential, the Hybrid Preferred, the Hybrid Luxury, and the Hybrid Ultimate. For convenience, we have put three of them in a side-by-side chart for a quick review of features. Past that we will discuss more differences between the four trim levels.
As far as similarities go, all four trim levels have the same 1.6 GDI Atkinson Cycle DOHC engine, with the same performance specifications and similar fuel economies. As you can see in the chart above, features that change by trim level include design, comfort, and technology features. As you get into the more expensive trim levels like the Ultimate trim level, you receive the highest quality features in every category, plus exclusive features that other trim levels don’t have such as High Beam Assist, Bi-Xenon HID headlights with Adaptive Cornering System (ACS), and a Driver’s Integrated Memory System (IMS) for seat and mirror positions.
The Luxury trim level wasn’t mentioned in the chart above, but that doesn’t mean it lacks fun features. In fact, it has a lot in common with the Ultimate trim level, and some features can be found on these two trim levels alone such as Driver Attention Warning, Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Rear parking assistance sensors (RPAS), and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection.
